I promise – To kindle a caring attitude towards lizards. A promise card is made together with a display of collection cards.

Children learn about free-flying birds and contrast this with the cruel picture of a robin in a cage. Children are making their own robin card.

Some animals that live around us are victims of our prejudices. Children talk about these animals and try to emphasise that these animals are our friends. Bookmarks are being drawn.

Activity is to be done in Spring. It will be about birds’ migration.

Wrapper Scrapper Reduce Waste. Children are encouraged to reduce waste. They should bring lunch in a reusable box, drink in reusable bottles, etc.

Waste Recycle Children collect white paper, newspapers, etc. Whole school is taking part.

Sow it and grow it Each child sows 2 seeds of “Il-Balluta" and then, when any seedlings sprout, these young oaks will be taken to Birdlife’s nurseries where they will continue to grow.

Nature talk; children are also taking care of seedlings bought by an Environmental Group.

Bird Table - In winter birds have a hard time finding food, so by using the bird table we are making life a little easier for these creatures.
