Home Summer Frenzy 2004 Back
Having fun During the summer months, St Jeanne Antide School, Gudja was open to its pupils and their friends for hours of learning through play. The fun packed programme, delivered by an enthusiastic and hard-working team of teachers, included tuition in the creative arts, sorts, as well as academic subjects. Activities were woven into the syllabus to allow students to develop their interests and to broaden their use of recreation time positively.
On the final day all participants took part in a talent show which was followed by a huge bar-b-q. The school owes its success to the co-operation of teachers, parents and pupils. What makes the school more special however, is the way Heads from neighbouring schools have been offering their support during the last years. Ms L Spiteri (Head of Ghaxaq Primary) and Mr G Sammut (Head of Gudja Primary) have worked in close collaboration with Sr T Tonna and Ms M Cutajar, Head of St Jeanne Antide School and Summer School co-ordinator respectively, to ensure that as many pupils as possible take part in the activities for the benefit of all.
