Orienteering and Abseiling at St Joan Antide School - Gudja
It was an exhilarating experience for pupils who took part in the mid-term
adventure activities organized by St Joan Antide School.
On Thursday 1 November, parents and pupils learnt what orienteering is,
whilst discovering the passageways and amazing natural surroundings of the
recently extended Ta' Qali National Park. On Friday 2 November, it
was abseiling for all. With the derelict White Rocks and the blue sea as
a backdrop, both parents and pupils had the time of their life going down
the ropes.
Thanks to the professional attitude and dedication of Mr Martin Borg from
Kamaja Outdoors, all those who participated learnt what it means to work
in a group and appreciated the environmental treasures we have hidden away
on our small island.
