Today we celebrated "Jum Il-Qari" at school with the collaboration of the Gudja Local Council and San Benedittu Gudja Primary School.

Yr1 pupils had a story telling session by Ms Nathalie Portelli at the end of which she gave each pupil one of her books kindly sponsored by the Local Council. Yr2 and Yr6 did paired reading whilst Yr3 had a book signing session during which they heard all about Ms Nathalie's career life as an authoress. Pupils in Yr4 had a research session using the library and the computer lab and they also put up an exhibition about Maltese traditions. A visit to the government press was organised for Yr5 pupils who found it extreemly interesting
